The heart beat of the city
For 35 years Doris Kelley has volunteered her time and skills to the American Cancer Society. On Wednesday she was honored for her dedication by being named the Greater Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year for 2009. The Non-Profit of the Year award was given to Interfaith Volunteers of Dunn County. The organization operates a food pantry, emergency shelter and volunteer caregiver program.
